I just saw a news clip about a 620lb Haitian woman who is unable to walk and who is too large to undergo lap band. She put on 120lbs in the last 3 months. Her doctors and family are devastated. I am not sure why the doctors did not operate when she was at 500lbs unless she refused the operation. I suppose that the surgery helps to a point but beyond a certain weight, surgery is not really an option anymore.

This is all great information regarding weight loss surgery and the risks associated. Also important is learning about whether or not you are a qualified candidate for the surgery.
